Forge Elite OS is a health and fitness performance application designed to help users track training, nutrition, recovery, progress, reminders, timers, analytics, and coaching-related information.
Information We Collect
Forge Elite OS may allow you to enter or generate information such as profile details, fitness goals, workout logs, nutrition information, saved meals, meal schedules and occurrence states, recovery check-ins, body weight, progress records, journal entries, reminders, timer data, companion delivery preferences, and Local Coach messages if you choose to use those features.
How We Use Information
We use app data to provide fitness tracking, nutrition tracking, recovery insights, reminders, timers, analytics, progress summaries, and coaching-related features. We do not sell your personal data.
Local Storage
Forge Elite OS is designed as a local-first application. In the Android app, Forge-owned profile, training, nutrition, recovery, journal and coaching records are stored in application-private storage and encrypted with an AES-GCM key held by Android Keystore. During an upgrade, a legacy WebView copy is retained until encrypted read-back validation succeeds and is removed only after verification. The browser/PWA version uses its browser origin storage and is not protected by the Android Keystore. If you clear app data, reset your profile, change devices, or uninstall the app, locally stored data may be deleted.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local records remain on your device until you delete them with an available in-app control, clear Forge Elite OS app data, or uninstall the app. Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for Forge Elite OS. A legacy migration copy is retained only to preserve rollback and recovery until the migration is verified. User-created export files remain under your control and must be deleted separately from the location where you saved or shared them.
This release has no configured Forge account, remote database, or cross-device sync service. If an optional cloud-assisted coach service is configured in a future build, its provider, purpose, data categories, retention, deletion process, and privacy terms must be disclosed before that service is enabled.
Meal Photos, Barcode and Nutrition-Label Capture
Meal-photo capture is optional. Forge requests Camera access only after you choose the capture control, review the purpose disclosure, and continue. A captured photo is held in Android application-private storage, checked against file-size, image-type and decode limits, and re-encoded to remove EXIF metadata. The original camera file is deleted after sanitisation. A sanitised use-once photo is deleted when the private manual-review flow completes or after a short safety-expiry period; Forge retains a photo only if you explicitly choose Keep photo.
Forge does not identify food, portions, calories or macros from ordinary meal photos in this release. An ordinary meal photo is an optional private manual-review image only. Nutrition-label photos are a separate feature: Forge may use bundled on-device OCR to extract editable printed text and possible nutrition values. OCR results may be incomplete or incorrect and are not logged until the user reviews, corrects and explicitly submits them.
On supported Android devices, supported EAN and UPC package-barcode images are decoded entirely on the device by the bundled ZXing Core decoder. Decoding identifies only an EAN or UPC code. The decoder does not make network requests, transmit barcode images or values, or send telemetry. Forge does not include a general product database, so a decoded code supplies no nutrition unless the user previously verified and saved that exact product locally. For an unknown code, you must enter and correct the product values manually. Forge creates a local code-to-meal mapping only after you review the values and explicitly choose Save meal; recalled values should still be checked against the package.
Printed English nutrition-label photos can be read on supported Android devices by Forge's bundled Tesseract text-recognition engine and bundled English language model. Recognition runs inside the Forge app process without a runtime model download, analytics service, or network request. The sanitised label image is deleted after the recognition attempt and extracted text is limited and sanitised before display. Extracted text and possible nutrition values may be incomplete or incorrect, and nothing is logged until you review the text, select the correct serving basis, correct the nutrition values, and explicitly submit the food log. OCR confidence measures text recognition only and does not verify serving basis or nutritional accuracy.
An ordinary meal photo is an optional private manual-review image only. If you explicitly choose Keep photo, the EXIF-free image remains in Forge's application-private storage until you delete it with the retained-photo controls, clear app data, or uninstall the app. You can list, delete one, or delete all retained meal photos from the meal-capture screen.
Meal photos, barcode values and nutrition-label text are processed locally and are not sent to a cloud service in this release. This release has no configured cloud meal-recognition service. A future cloud option must remain off until you receive a provider-specific disclosure and explicitly opt in; it must also provide a revocation and deletion route. Denying Camera access does not limit pasted-label or manual meal entry. You can review or revoke access through Forge Settings or Android Settings > Apps > Forge Elite OS > Permissions > Camera.
AI Features
Forge Local Coach and local executive reports run on your device by default and require no API key. Cloud-assisted explanations are optional and require your explicit consent. When enabled and a cloud service is configured, Forge Elite sends only the minimum coaching context required for that request. Local deterministic safety rules continue to apply. Do not enter sensitive medical, financial, or confidential information into coaching features.
Workout Autopilot, adaptive nutrition target reviews and weekly intelligence reports are deterministic local decision-support features. They use records available on your device, label their evidence and limitations, and do not silently change your programme or nutrition target. Workout and calorie proposals require explicit approval. Nutrition trend calculations exclude food-log days unless you mark them complete. These features are general fitness guidance, not medical advice, a diagnosis, a metabolic measurement or proof that one recorded factor caused another.
Companion style, directness, detail, encouragement and challenge controls affect delivery only; they do not change safety rules, evidence or facts. You can inspect stored coach-memory counts and delete adaptive preference and recommendation-action memory from the Forge screen. Programme rollback snapshots and visible conversation history are kept separate so a memory reset does not silently remove safety or recovery records.
Optional Health Connect Data
Health Connect is optional. Forge checks availability at runtime: Android 14 or later may provide Health Connect as a system service, while Android 9–13 requires a compatible Health Connect provider to be installed and available. If it is unavailable or unsupported, all manual Forge functions remain available.
Forge requests read access to each selected type only after you choose its control and review the disclosure. Selectable types are Sleep sessions and stages, Resting heart rate, HRV RMSSD, Exercise sessions, Steps, Heart rate and Body weight. You can allow none, one or several types. Partial or revoked permissions do not block manual tracking.
Forge reads selected data only when you press Sync now while the app is in use. This release does not write Health Connect records, perform background health reads, or request background-read or extended-history access. Reads use a recent window and aggregation where appropriate to reduce double counting; aggregate results may not provide exact source-device attribution.
After an explicit sync, Forge stores normalized imported observations in its protected local app storage. These may include the metric, value and unit, start and end times, source package or available source label, recording method, measured/estimated/manual state, import time, freshness, quality or exclusion flags, and a safe source identifier or deduplication key. Forge does not sell this data, use it for advertising, or upload it by default.
Selected connected data may contribute to a local Forge Score 2.0 comparison shown in shadow mode. It uses personal baselines and reports data coverage, freshness, contributing and missing signals. It does not silently change a programme, workout, nutrition target or stored decision, and it is not a diagnosis or a prediction of injury or illness.
You can revoke each permission in Health Connect or Android settings, exclude a contributing source from Forge calculations, and use Clear Forge's imported data in Forge Settings. Clearing imported data removes Forge's local imported copies while preserving manual Forge records; it does not delete records held by Health Connect or the source application.
Notifications and Reminders
Forge Elite OS may support workout, recovery and meal reminders. Notifications are enabled only after your permission where required by your device or browser. Reminder preferences are stored locally and may include enabled status, local days and times, quiet hours, reminder offsets, dismissed state, meal occurrence status and related settings. Reminder scheduling is restored locally after a supported reboot, application update, timezone change or clock change. Exact-alarm access is not requested.
Microphone and Voice Input
Forge Voice uses microphone access only after you choose the Voice control, review the in-app disclosure, and continue to the Android permission request. The microphone is used to turn your speech into editable text. Forge Elite OS does not record or store the raw audio.
Audio is handled by the speech-recognition service selected on your Android device. Depending on your device, settings, and speech provider, recognition may take place on the device or audio may be sent to that provider's servers under the provider's privacy terms. The resulting transcript remains in the Forge text box until you choose to submit it.
Local Coach processes submitted text on your device by default. If you separately enable an explicitly configured cloud-assisted coach service, submitted text and the minimum coaching context described in the AI Features section may be sent to that configured service. Denying microphone access does not limit typed coaching. You can revoke access at any time through Forge Settings or Android Settings > Apps > Forge Elite OS > Permissions > Microphone.
Optional spoken responses are off by default and can be muted or stopped. Spoken output uses the speech-synthesis capability available on your device; it does not activate the microphone. Voice input remains push-to-talk and is never enabled as continuous background listening by Forge Elite OS.
Health and Fitness Disclaimer
Forge Elite OS is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Forge Elite has no configured cross-device sync service in this release. If you explicitly enable a future cloud-assisted feature, the request-specific minimum context may be sent to that service. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or to protect safety and security.
Third-Party Services
The app is distributed through an app store and may use an explicitly configured cloud AI service only after opt-in. Forge Elite OS does not include advertising or third-party behavioural analytics SDKs in this release. App-store services process data under their own privacy terms.
Children's Privacy
Forge Elite OS is intended for adults aged 18 or older. The onboarding flow requires users to confirm they are at least 18.
Data Security
Forge Elite OS uses Android Keystore-backed AES-GCM encryption for Forge-owned records in the Android app, Android application-private storage, Android process sandboxing, disabled Android backup and device transfer, blocked cleartext traffic, validated imports, and release signing to reduce exposure. Browser/PWA storage is governed by the security of the browser profile and device and does not use the Android Keystore. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so you remain responsible for securing your device and app environment.
Your Choices
- Edit or delete information inside the app where controls are provided.
- Reset your profile or local app data.
- Disable notifications through your browser or device settings.
- Deny or revoke Camera access; existing-photo and manual meal-entry routes remain available.
- Deny or revoke microphone access; typed coaching remains available.
- Decline or revoke any Health Connect data type, exclude a source from local calculations, and clear Forge's imported connected-health data; manual tracking remains available.
- Stop using AI features at any time.
- Uninstall the app to remove locally stored application data, subject to your device settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.
